The CSI Awards from Cable and Satellite International are designed to recognize and reward innovation and excellence in the cable, satellite, broadcast, IPTV, telco, broadband/OTT video, mobile TV and associated sectors.
Steve Hawley of tvstrategies is again a Judge for the Awards, which are presented at the International Broadcasting Conference (IBC) in Amsterdam. IBC runs from September 13 – 17, and the Awards are presented on the evening of September 14.
Companies that wish to be considered for an award should submit their entries before 18 June.
This year the Awards are introducing four new categories:
- Best TV user experience (UX)
- IP playout
- Best data storage solution
- Best use of AI or Machine Learning in video
